I am the acknowledged father of Ashia Ann Lee, now Ashia Lee Derksen (document on file with the City and County of San Francisco Social Services agency). By extension, I am the grandfather of Ashia Derksen's children, Pieter Derksen of Santa Barbara CA and Adriana Derksen of Columbus OH.
Although the Derksens, who most likely have benefitted from my DNA in their life successes, are loathe to even acknowledge my very existence, I reserve my grandfatherly right to bask in the reflected glory of their triumphs. Further, I assent to the footnoted identification of myself in any future paeans to their triumphs.
